I love food, and I love to eat. I was raised on Ben & Jerry’s and the awesome restaurants of the San Francisco Bay Area. I’m definitely not a salad-on-a-date kind of girl.
I’m also an athlete, and always have been. I played soccer in college–go Midd!–and still play. This will also be my third year doing triathlon, which keeps me active and healthy and working out 8 times per week. In the winters, I ski as much as possible.
Finally, I’m a writer, and I love putting pen to paper. So, I thought, why not combine my three passions into one and start a blog? And now you have “The Spinach Inquisition” (puns!).
I want this blog to be a place for me to share what I think I know about living life right. I’m in my happy place when I eat as much of whatever I want, and then work out a ton. And over the past few years, I’ve been able to hit that balance. My friends ask me on a regular basis for advice on exercises to do, and how to get in shape–so hopefully this will help everyone who wants to get in shape, but not be crazy about it!
